I researched ‘knots’ for my final exhibition piece of work, these are some of the stitch samples I tried out.

‘Tied Cord’ – Drawn on calico, then free motion stitching

‘Knot’ – free motion stitching on tissue paper backed with cotton fabric

‘Flying’ – Gelli plate print, acrylic paint on cotton.

‘Red Knot’ – Free motion embroidery, mixed threads (cotton and rayon)

‘Takeoff’ (front) – Free motion embroidery on white Lutradur web.

‘Takeoff’ (back) – Free motion embroidery on white Lutradur web.
